RURU/Ultimate Powers | #: 12
RURU/Ultimate Powers was one of the first circles whose name I actually started remembering when I began collecting doujinshi. I started off with their Prince of Tennis titles -- they seem to be as fascinated with Kamio to the degree that I was -- and then followed them through with each new fandom that they discover. Most of their titles are either cute gags or some pretty heavy boy-on-boy action (see Gundam Seed druggies titles). They're an extremely popular circle (very few of their doujinshi go below 1000 yen on YJA) and very prolific. They participate in anthologies for mostly Tenipuri and GSeed and even published their own collected book of works.
I've moved away from buying boy-love doujinshi, except for anything made by RURU. That's just how much I love this circle's work.
