KUROGANE

A ninja from the Country of Japan. His goal is to be the strongest ninja, regardless of whom he has to battle in order to get there. Exiled by Tomoyo to another dimension so that he would learn that there is more to one's existence than being the most powerful.

 

NAME: The kanji in his name means "black steel."

UNIQUE PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS: Red eyes and monstrous strength

RELATIONSHIPS:
Syaoran - He won't admit it publicly, but Kurogane is impressed with Syaoran's determination to fight with all of his strength to achieve his goal. Starting in Outo, he begins to train the boy in swordsmanship and fighting techniques.

Fai - Depends; could range from mild irritation to outright vehemence. Irritated at Fai's ridiculous nicknames and outrageous antics (ie. forcing Kurogane to eat chocolate au fondant from Yuuko). In serious moments, Fai is the only one among their group who seems to understand also the gravity of their quest.

Tomoyo - Despite his anger at being "exiled," Kurogane swears utmost fealty to Tomoyo as his liege. She rescued him as a child and he has then sworn to be loyal to her (even though she does irritate him at times).

Mokona - Would skewer and eat it for breakfast if he could. However, actions speak louder than words and it is possible that Kurogane has a soft spot for the white manjyuu, who could be always found clinging to his cloak or perched on his shoulders.

Souma - As a fellow ninja and protector of Tomoyo, Kurogane expects Souma to fill in his role -- no matter what dimension they're in. When he meets an alternate person of Souma in Outo, he was surprised that she wasn't at Tomoyo's side.

CHILDHOOD & PAST

Kurogane lived in the Province of Suwa, in the kingdom of Japan. His father and mother...blah blah blahblah

CLASS: WARRIOR

Kurogane's defining characteristic is always being up for a brawl. He's able to judge his opponent's skills quickly and know whether they are worthy of his mettle.

WEAPONS:
Ginryuu (Silver Dragon) - Original weapon which he left grudgingly with Yuuko as payment for being able to travel through dimensions

Kudan - Obtained during their stay at the Hanshin Republic. Kudan revealed itself as the beast Seles and was able to transform into a sword (which resembles Ryuoh's sword)

Souhi - Bought at Outo Country to replace the flimsy sword that was needed to fulfill the job of demon hunter.
