EPISODE 31: Shounen no Ketsui | The Boy's Decision

Synopsis: Syaoran meets a young boy who resembles his own father, Fujitaka. After a storm leaves the two of them marooned from the rest of the ship, Syaoran and Fujitaka have to rely on their wits to ensure rescue.

This is an original episode to the anime.

The Ryanban (originally of Koriyo) and Fujitaka (Syaoran's father from Clow Country) appear as the captain and as the ship's mechanic, respectively.

It is unknown if the boy really is Syaoran's father, but Syaoran manages to inspire the boy to become an archeologist, as his father once was.

One scene features Fai's dislike of raw fish, as was revealed in Katarare nakatta Sekai 1
