Pieces of Memory
Syaoran's quest to retrieve all of Sakura's memories came at a price. In their journey through various worlds, the importance of the past and of remembering becomes a recurring theme.
Chapitre 5 - Apples
Sakura brings Syaoran a basket of apples that were given to her by the townspeople.

Chapitre 8 - Before I Sleep
Memory of: Syaoran
Sakura asks Syaoran to hold her hand and stay with her as she sleeps.
Chapitre 16 - Call Me Sakura
Memory of: Syaoran
Sakura asks Syaoran to start calling her by her first name instead of princess.
Chapitre 22 - Birthday Party
Memory of: Sakura
Sakura celebrates her birthday celebration with Touya, Yukito, and somebody (?) in an empty chair. She believes that nobody was sitting there, but somehow she still felt very happy.

Syaoran recalls the same birthday party, where he was the person sitting next to Sakura and she was telling him how happy she is that he was there.
Chapitre 22 - When's Your Birthday
Memory of: Syaoran
Syaoran remembers Sakura asking him when he celebrates his birthday. He tells her that he doesn't remember much before his father, Fujitaka, found him. So, Sakura says that she'll pick out a birthday for him: April 1st, which is her own birthday. She also promised him that she'll take care of remembering all of the important things for him, so that he wouldn't have to remember for himself.
Chapitre 23 - The Princess and the King
Memory of: Sakura
Clow tells Sakura about Fujitaka's son, a boy about her age. She is enthusiastic about meeting him, but she is cautioned by Clow that the boy has been through a lot of paiful experiences. Through Fujitaka's care, he's slowly come out of his shell, but any small gesture, like a warm smile would be helpful to warm his frozen heart.
Chapitre 23 - Father and Son

Syaoran returns from Sakura's birthday party. Fujitaka asks him how it went, and Syaoran tells him that the princess was very kind and warm, and even gave him a birthday since he couldn't remember his own.
Chapitre 24 - Birds
Memory of: Syaoran
Sakura takes Syaoran to a tower in the middle of the desert where she knows a flock of white birds always show up every afternoon. Syaoran thanks her for taking him there, and Sakura is surprised at seeing Syaoran smile for the first time.

Chapitre 33 - Uneasy Feeling
Memory of: Touya
Touya remembers when he first met Syaoran, who was playing with Sakura in the palace at the time. From the first meeting, Touya has sensed something amiss about Syaoran, but he didn't tell anybody other than his father, the king.
Chapitre 34 - Injury
Memory of: Syaoran
There was an accident at the ruins, and Syaoran injured his right hand by accident. Fujitaka tells him that he should be careful, especially since he lacks depth perception by only being able to see from one eye. Sakura bursts into their home, worried about her friend. Syaoran tells him that he's fine, but he doesn't feel comfortable nor does he know how to act when people are worried fussing over him. Sakura tells him that instead of apologizing to people, he should thank them for their concern.
Chapitre 42 - Seishirou
Memory of: Syaoran
Syaoran was rescued by Seishirou from men who wanted to steal a book that he bought for his father Fujitaka. Seishirou, a vampire hunter, was also interested in the contents of the book but couldn't decipher the language it was written in. Syaoran volunteers to translate it for him in exchange for fight training, as Seishirou, like him, also cannot see from his right eye.
